In the exhibition Flint House Lizard, Ani Schulze presents the film of the same name as well as fabric works and drawings. They form a fragmentary narrative in which the effects of the sun on our human behaviour serve as her starting point.

We are pleased to present the film "The Watson's Hotel" by Ragunath V, Nathaniel Knop and Peter Rippl together with selected photographic works by Ragunath V in an exhibition from June 2 to June 30.

10 years LICHTER Art Award

the lichter art award celebrates its 10th anniversary! the competition has stablished itself as a renowned international platform for contemporary video art. whether from singapore or peruvian lima - this year more than 160 works by video artists and filmmakers from all over the world were submitted, from which five were nominatted for the 10th lichter art award.

The three-month IEPA artist grant, a cooperation between basis and NEKaTOENEa, is offered annually. Its aim is to promote exchange in the field of art between the partner regions of Nouvelle-Aquitaine in France and the German Federal State of Hesse. On view in the exhibition are works produced during the residency by the IEPA scholarship holders of 2019 Pauline Castra and Dennis Siering.

We are pleased to be presenting the group exhibition we will have been young at basis from March 8 to May 12, 2019. The opening is on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 7 pm. The curator and all the artists will be present.
